Clubhouse Support Workout

Twice a week, on a Monday and Friday, Clubhouse Support visit Locker 27 gym in Addlestone. The groups have learned how to use the equipment safely and independently. They have worked hard on their routines and improving their PB’s each week. They are concentrating on keeping the mind, as well as the body healthy
The gym helps makes me work on my strength and fitness. It also makes me aware about healthy eating. I have a personal fitness diary where I can track my fitness and work on improving it each week said John
I like using the Rower and Treadmill. I also like doing squats and pulls as it is important that I work on my legs and strengthening them due to mobility issues. I also work on my upper body to strengthen my arms said Alex J
I really like using the medicine balls. I sit on the boxes and do medicine ball sits/squats. I have also been working on using heavier med balls. I can throw them really high now said Alex S
I like using the exercise bikes. I can cycle non stop for half an hour. It is my favourite piece of gym equipment said Michael
I use several pieces of gym equipment including the Treadmill, rowing machine and Exercise Bike and I use the medicine balls. I use the medicine balls to hit the targets. Over the last couple of months, I am throwing heavier balls and hitting the higher targets. The gym helps me keep fit and healthy said Matthew
